The winter has gone but that does not mean that cars are out of the woods in terms of damage caused by the elements during the colder months.
Randy Loyk, from AMA, told 660News that even though the weather is improving, drivers should not neglect car interior and exterior detailing, as the after effects of the winter can wreak havoc on vehicles.
He stated that motorists should clean their cars inside and out, which could mean drivers may wish to invest in car shampoo and leather conditioner to do a thorough job.
Mr Loyk also recommended checking the lights to make sure they are in working order and ensuring fluid levels are correct.
John Lehman, managing owner of Ziebart, told WNDU.com, recently that the salt underneath the vehicle needs to be removed to avoid it causing any long-term damage and that power washing is a good way to remove such contaminants.
