Dodo Juice car shampoo ‘impresses detailing enthusiast’

Car shampoo is an essential exterior detailing product and it is important that motorists choose a product that works effectively.

There are a number of brands offering car shampoo, including Meguiar's, Autoglym and Mothers, however, one product that could be worth investing in is Dodo Juice's Born To Be Mild.

Martyn Collins, writing for Autoblog, recently put the shampoo to the test and was impressed with the results.

He highlighted that very little is needed to give the car a thorough going over and that the soap had a pleasant aroma, which is a hallmark of all Dodo Juice products.

The writer also noted that the car shampoo was very easy to use, meaning drivers will not have too much trouble applying it.

"I know this is true of all car shampoos, but the Born To Be Mild shampoo really glided over the surface without any hard work, even though the car hadn't been cleaned for a couple of months," Mr Collins stated.

The blogger also tested the company's original soft car wax, which he said was easy to apply and left a good finish.

However, Mr Collins noted that Autoglym's HD Wax is a superior product.

Dodo Juice's detailing spray was also put to the test and the writer concluded that of all three products, this was the best.

"All have their merits but the best in terms of performance and value for money has to be the detailing spray," Mr Collins stated.

The team at Victory Detailing recently noted how they used carnauba wax to breathe new life into the paint job of a Chevrolet.

After using clay bars to remove impurities from the bodywork, the experts applied the product and were pleased with the results.

"There truly was a deep and glossy shine after the wax was removed," they noted.
