Using clay bars well ‘takes time’

Car exterior care is not something drivers can rush and hope they will get great results at the end of it.

While products such as clay bars, car scratch remover and microfibre cloths are essential to getting that fantastic finish, they cannot do the work on their own.

Owners must be prepared to put the hours in if they want to get that showroom shine they crave.

This is especially true of clay bars, as these must be used in patches and require time and patience for the best results.

The team at Victory Detailing understand this and that is why a BMW they recently clayed came out looking good as new.

"We were able to bring the shine back to this vehicle. It certainly took some time, however, the results were remarkable," the experts noted.

Autoglym chief executive officer Paul Caller recently stated that the best way to prevent bird droppings damaging paint is to remove them with car care products as soon as possible.
