Expert recommends Stoner Invisible Glass

Cleaning the windscreen and windows may appear to be a straightforward task but without a good glass cleaner and microfibre cloths drivers will struggle to avoid leaving streaks.

A motorist wrote to the Windsor Star's Auto Almanac complaining that he had used a variety of glass cleaners for both cars and domestic windows but that nothing did a good job.

According to the expert, the reason why cleaning the windscreen is not as easy as it seems has to do with all the elements that cars are exposed to, including bugs, oil and bits of rubber, which are smeared across the glass.

However, one product which will deliver the goods is Stoner Invisible Glass.

"We use Invisible Glass by Stoner Inc with success. No matter what you use, be sure to be out of direct sunlight, which dries out the spray before you can get the surface properly wiped," the writer stated.

Krishna King, after-sales parts manager at Bermuda Motors, told the Bermuda Sun recently that those with tinted windows must use an ammonia-free glass cleaner.
