A detailer from Fife in Scotland is offering what is thought to be the worlds most expensive car wax and detailing service – a snip at just £100,000!
Paul Wilkins of The Ultimate Shine, Kirkcaldy will fly out to any location in the world to provide the ultimate in-car detailing services. Paul, who freely admits he is a self-proclaimed perfectionist says “I will work on the car for as long as it takes. I’m a perfectionist so sometimes it’s taken me a few months before I’m happy to hand the keys back.”
The main secret behind the worlds most expensive car wax and detail is the blend of carnauba wax and oils used for each detail. “We can make up different blends according to what the client wants. We offer a wax for every season which will protect the car in any element. We can even produce scented waxes.” Paul commented.
The wax alone is one of the worlds most expensive car wax products ever produced with a price tag of £65,000 for each pot. The previous record is thought to belong to Zymol Solaris Glaze at a bargain price of £30,000. Read the rest of this entry »

This is closely followed by the trusted credit card where nearly a quarter of those car owners surveyed admitted to having used their credit card to clear the ice and snow from their car.
One of the most unusual objects used is the kitchen spatula or other cooking utensils, which have been used by over 15% of both male and female drivers as a car de-icer. Read the rest of this entry »
