About Autoglym Super Resin Polish

Why Choose Super Resin Polish?

Having been launched in 1986 Autoglym Super Resin Polish (SRP) has been now been a firm favourite amongst car owners, enthusiasts and valeters alike, for nearly 30 years. Here we take a good look at why it has lasted the course, some rave reviews, how to apply (inc a quick video) as well as a couple of links to where you can buy at great prices.

Super Resin Polish is a 3 in 1 product, combining paint cleaner, polish and sealant all in one high quality, yet extremely competitively priced product.

Although having been around since the late ’80’s the product hasn’t stood still. Only a year after being voted Polishing Product of The Year by Detailing World in 2011, Autoglym re-engineered Super Resin Polish to a new, more advanced, easier to use and better performing product.

If there was one criticism of the original product, it would be that it was slightly too powdery when left to dry for too long. That was fixed with the 2012 re-launch of Autoglym Super Resin Polish as well as improving the longevity of protection it gives on your car along with the beading of water on your paintwork.

Longer Lasting Deeper Shine

Where the previous version would continue to protect and bead water for around 12 washes , the current formulation is claimed to do the same for up to 35 washes.

Autoglym Super Resin Polish is a formulation of waxes, silicones and paint cleansers that gently removes surface contaminants and imparts a tough glossy protective barrier to your cars paintwork.

Indeed, in tests carried out by Autoglym against all major competitors at the time the new formulation was launched, Super Resin Polish recorded the deepest shine ever measured in their labratory.

If you are looking for an award winning  product that provides great levels of shine and protection, is extremely easy to use and that is amazingly affordable, Autoglym Super Resin Polish is hard to beat.

Very easy but also very effective Very easy to apply and to polish off. Leaves a deep shine. For best results, follow the enclosed instructions carefully and try to avoid applying to unsealed plastic trim because it will leave a white film on this. Also gives best results when 100% cotton cloths are used.   Neil – Cheshire

A classic all-round polish! A must have polish for any car enthusiast, restores lustre, helps fill swirls and offers a mild sealing effect. Easy to apply and remove and hence great for beginners but still used by many pros!    Jeremy – Peterborough
