MOTHERS® Polishes•Waxes•Cleaners was formed in 1973 after the founding members discovered a revolutionary new polishing formula that cleaned, gleamed and protected aluminium wheels. Having acquired the manufacturing and distribution rights they hired the services of a chemist and immediately began improving the formula even further to create Mothers Mag & Aluminium Polish.
Because of the quality of the product their customers sought additional products. Next came the development of a Chrome & Glass Cleaner - Protector. Soon thereafter their customers wanted a MOTHERS® quality car wax. Again working with the same original chemist they came up with California Gold® Carnauba Paste Wax.
MOTHERS® continued to develop further products with the aim of making them unique and superior to other products on the market. MOTHERS® guiding philosophy has always been to offer the highest quality product obtainable.
